‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: Bobbi and Hunter track Malick

Is “Agents of SHIELD” trying in advance to set up what a potential “Marvel’s Most Wanted” spin-off show would look like? We wonder that based on some more details that we’ve got for an upcoming episode.

Below, you can take a look at the synopsis for an upcoming episode of the ABC show entitled “Parting Shot” and airing on March 22; based on what it is saying, this could be a story with some long-term consequences coming up:

“Bobbi and Hunter become ensnared in an assassination plot after tracking Malick to Russia. As S.H.I.E.L.D. races to save the lives on the line, the team is changed forever.”

We hope that the show does deliver another major shock or two that really impacts the team first and foremost, given that our biggest fear at the moment is that with the increased focus on the Secret Warriors, we’re going to eventually see the likes of Coulson and May pushed into the background. While we do very much enjoy Daisy and Lincoln, we don’t want to see the focus of the show changed too dramatically. After all, if it did why not just re-brand the show or give it another spin-off? We have to think that the producers are cognizant of this, and they will do something to manage the balance while they have so many different storylines all going on at the same exact time.
