ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 15 video: What’s the big Castle – Beckett revelation?
The bad thing about this past episode of “Castle” is rather easy to identify: There was no Kate Beckett! We did still enjoy a few elements here and there of “The GDS,” but to us there is still no question that this show is far and away at its best when we are getting to see Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic front and center for busting mysteries and taking down bad people.
In the promo below for the upcoming March 21 episode, it does definitely appear that Castle and Beckett are at least going to be spending a little bit of time together. In addition to that, we also know a thing or two about the context of it: They will be spending a great deal of time making a key decision. What is it? The promo does make it appear as though it’s something bad, but we’re betting more it has to do with the public status of their relationship.
This about it for a minute here. Obviously, keeping this secret has been hard, but if Rick already knows a ton about LokSat, and we feel like people are going to automatically assume that the two of them are together, what exactly is the point anyway? Hopefully this will just put an end to the pretending, and they can finally just be a couple again! That’s just our hope.
Oh, and we should mention at least briefly the case from the promo, given that it is going to trace back to some of Kate’s days as an officer-in-training, where she learned so many of the skills she utilizes now.

My guess? She’s pregnant.
It would make sense, given the chaotic schedule they’ve been keeping.
It will be a difficult thing for her to give up front point guard in raids, but she’s begun doing that anyway in recent shows.
Given her medical history after being shot, its also going to be a difficult pregnancy, so my full guess, is that they become a fully recognized couple again & that, fingers crossed, NEXT season we’ll see a bouncing baby boy Castle, or fraternal twins; Boy (Roy, for one name, & Castle’s & Kate’s father’s name would be my guess) AND Girl (Kate’s mother’s name followed by Martha’s inserted here) Castle join the ranks.
Locksat, is tied to Kate’s mother’s death. We KNOW that it HAS to be somehow resolved enough for Kate to be safe enough to feel okay about blending a career & starting a family.
There have certainly been enough mothers on the show, showing that a fully successful career can be completed while “on the force” & Captain Beckett has made it up the police ladder in NY, so it would’nt be the worst revelation, so long as we get a season NINE & possibly TEN out of it.
Blending Castle’s daughter into the Sleuth for hire business makes huge sense & gives new dad to be Castle, even MORE ammunition and fodder for book writing. While his main muse might be down for the count briefly, Kate can come back as the newer fiercer, charming, gorgeous mama LIONESS that she is…
Cliffhanger enough.
Locksat finale can wait.

The clip we see regarding Kate saying “I can’t do this any more” and Castle responding with ” Good! Neither can I.” Would indicate that they both realize that they must work together to solve LokSat. This revelation should lead to an exchange of all the information that each has on LokSat and to Kate moving back in with Castle in episode 16 as previously stated. This should lead to the life changing increase in trust and understanding and a determination to stop any lying to each other. This, then, should lead to the strengthening of their marriage promised by the show runners in interviews before the season even started. Too much to hope for I guess but we can hope can’t we.

“We are going to automatically assume the two of them are together” could be a bad assumption considering the inane things that have happened so far this season. It could mean that the two of them are going to get a fake (or real?) divorce just to firm up their breakup. However, your assumption would be the much preferred interpretation.

With the future of the series uncertain and even moreso, SK’s return a probable no go, we have Mr Hawley now changing his tune about a cliffhanger. More untruths from him, a theme all season. This big revelation may or may not have Kate moving back home, but Im not counting on a happy ending they’ve pretty much been promising for 7 years.
‘You cannot leave what is always at ur side’. Apparently you can.

Now that Rick’s disappearance has been tied to LokSat it would appear that to find out more about Rick’s disappearance would require finding out more about LokSat. This being the case they should concentrate on solving LokSat. Eight more episodes should be much more than adequate to do this (actually two more episodes should be more than adequate.) Then it becomes sensible to combine Kate’s and Rick’s efforts and to stop the counterproductive lying. Oops I am starting to talk about sensibility which is definitely foreign to the show runners.

There are two possibles. Caskett move back together and the writers pull their heads out into the sunshine allowing Caskett to exchange all info on Loksat. Yeah, yeah, that’s asking too much, it makes to much sense.

Agree that we should see an end to Loksat in one or two episodes. But after the depressing cliffhanger spoiling CASKETT’S wedding at the end of Season 6, I am very skeptical of a happy ending when Hawley says it would be great to end with a real cliffhanger. As many fans have said, “we want a meaningful resolution of Loksat, minimize Vikram’s role, and focus on Castle and Beckett solving cases while showing their passionate love and engaged learning.” So please no more cliffhangers for Season 8.

Good point and I’m sure he used his exposure from Castle to negotiate the AT&T gig. The sooner he is gone, the better. CASKETT is about the chemistry of Castle and Beckett working together – whatever the case or problem. Vikram has polluted that chemistry.

You need to go to abc castle news and read the article dated 3/14, it is not good, it was placed by Mimi Heimbrod. You will have to come up with your own conclusion. I have not seem this any other place today. I just hope we have not seem our last episode of Castle, they have them completed up to episode 19, I know nothing about 20 and 21.

One of the things we over looked in episode 14, was that Hayley (Toks) the Kate want to be knew about Rick and LokSat from the beginning. She said nothing watching all the pain Rick and Kate have been going through, splits ,separation and lying to there friends. That is just sad. I did not like the role Toks is playing this season starting last summer, I dislike it more now. We can only hope that in these last 7 episode that we can go show runner Hawley lite and remove all the BS twist for turns that have been separating Rick and Kate. Bring Kate home in episode 15 would be a great gift from the writers and show runners, and maybe the fans will start coming home to. But with Hawley running the ship I can see many more iceberg he going to want it hit.

I guess when you do not have a life you can come up with unique things. Rita, Castles stepmother also must have known all along what happened to his missing time, but never said a thing. In episode 15 someone is going to make a major career change, I wonder how Kates going to change her career? I guess time will tell.

Georgie,it is a life changing decision, not career changing. I imagine it is about moving back in and Castles discovery of Loksat and they will fight this together.

It finally occurred to the writers that already having many of the characters this season knew to contact Beckett, was through Castle, this charade of a separation made no cents when the people writing the scripts couldn’t get it right. Loksat would have to be idiots not to realize what was so difficult for the writers. Truth is stranger than fiction .
