‘Poldark’ season 2: Are the cast starting to wrap things up?

Given that “Poldark” season 2 has been filming since the summer, it does make at least a little bit of sense that we would start to see some people begin wrapping things up.

With this in mind, it really shouldn’t be a shock to see, via Twitter post below, that Heidi Reed (Elizabeth) is done for the season. We presume that some other cast members will follow, and then all will have a much-deserved break after spending so many months in Cornwall as of late making sure that this series is everything that fans hope it can be and then some.

The second season of “Poldark” will not premiere until later this year on BBC One, but we anticipate there being the same sort of mixture of things that fans have loved about this series since the very beginning. For example, we anticipate having a chance to bear witness to some romance, just as we also anticipate that there will be some drama, heartbreak, and tragedy to go along with it. This show mixes hope and hopelessness, and there’s really something in here for almost everyone. Ultimately, it’s a show that packs a lot of great stuff week in and week out.

As per usual, trust us when we say that we’ll have some other “Poldark” news as it becomes available. As we start to get closer and closer to the premiere, we imagine that the news cycle will start to heat up even more for the show than it has.
