‘The Blacklist’ season 3, episode 17 preview: Will Red stop a Tom – Liz wedding?

“The Blacklist” has given us quite a ride over the past few weeks, giving us a wide array of stories that include everything from Liz Keen’s pregnancy to interesting blacklisters to a few developments here and there when it comes to the relationship between her and Tom.

Now, the NBC show is giving everyone something that they almost surely do not want: A hiatus. The next episode of the show is going to air come April 7, which means that it’ll be a good four weeks until we get some additional action from this show. Is there a silver lining? We’d say so, mostly because of the notion that the final episodes of the season could air weekly, and there will be fewer repeats the rest of the way.

As for the promo below, whoever at NBC’s marketing department came up with the idea of “Red Wedding” deserves some sort of gold star. This is pretty much PERFECT for describing the situation as it is at present. Reddington is going to potentially do everything that he can to stop the wedding of Tom and Liz, and we have to think that the end results of this could be entertaining. Could someone die? We certainly think that it’s possible.

In the end, though, we feel like the hardest thing for many fans to do after watching this promo is fairly simple: Wait. This is a long time to sit around and try to figure out what happens next.
