‘Supergirl’ spoilers: The title for ‘The Flash’ crossover is…
For everyone excited to see the upcoming appearance of Grant Gustin on “Supergirl,” we’ve now got a little more information that could make this appearance all the more enticing: The title for this said episode!
As you can see in the Instagram post below from Gustin, the name for the upcoming installment is “Worlds Finest” … which is certainly a curious choice, since it is not entirely clear just what this is a reference to. The biggest thing we’re curious about is “Worlds” versus “World’s,” which is what we would have assumed. This title implies more than one world, which of course to us makes us wonder whether or not Supergirl is on what “The Flash” considers to be Earth-2, which is why nobody would have mentioned either her or Kara previously. In furthering this argument, you could claim that in Earth-1 there was never a reason to send a pair of heroes off of Krypton. It’s just one more interesting theory to go along with a wide array of them for how the show is going to properly mesh these characters together.
In the end, maybe we’re thinking a little too hard about this and there is some other solution that can be fathomed. It’s ultimately just rather hard to say. The one thing that we hope for is simply that this episode proves to be every bit as fun as we hope that it could.
