‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: New photo teases Colton Haynes’ return!

“Arrow” is going to have a lot of faux-leather on Wednesday night’s new episode. After all, we have another hero in the midst!

After being absent for the entirety of season 4, Colton Haynes will be returning in the role of Roy Harper; specifically, he’ll be suiting up as Arsenal once more. The photo above is proof that he will be in action once more! As for the exact circumstances of his return, that remains to be seen. The last we saw him, he was working to establish some sort of new life for himself, but since then Thea Queen has moved on romantically, and has taken up his mantel in the role of Speedy among the team.

Is it possible that Roy could be the body buried in the ground? It’s possible, but to us it seems unlikely. You have to think about some of the logistics here, including that Barry Allen went far out of his way to spend time with Oliver at his grave. Is there really a close enough relationship between Barry and Roy to justify this? We’re not exactly sure of that. Plus, we get the impression that the identity of who is in the grave is something that will probably not be revealed still for a little while.

Ultimately, all of the answers will come your way in due time; if nothing else, we’re just glad to get little Roy updates here and there, given that he was such an integral part of the show once upon a time.
