‘Supergirl’ episode 12 preview: See the beginnings of Hope Lauren’s Bizarro-Girl

Kara -

Monday night’s new episode of “Supergirl” is going to have a very Bizarro feel to it, and there’s a pretty clear reason why: We’re going to see Bizarro-Girl on Monday night’s all-new episode!

Hope Lauren is going to play the “evil” version of Supergirl, a creation of Maxwell Lord who is going to do a very good job in ordering her to do some of his bidding. We figure that part of his motivation is simple: To have a creation of his tear through National City, and in the process also start to make Supergirl look pretty terrible. For at least a little while, we are probably going to see some people have a little bit of uncertainty.

Ultimately, what is going to be interesting about Bizarro-Girl as a villain is that we don’t think that she is necessarily evil; however, at the same exact time we do think that shehas been conditioned to follow Maxwell’s orders, and it is not going to be particularly easy to start to program her to think in any sort of different way. We certainly imagine that Kara and everyone else will try to get to her in some capacity, but we’re not quite sure they will be able to before it is too late and the damage has been done.

If nothing else, we feel very confident that this will be a fantastic episode, one that pays homage to a story from the comic books that is always interesting to go through.
