‘Black Sails’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Eleanor states her case (video)

Waiting to see some more adventures over on Starz’s “Black Sails“? The second episode of the season will be coming up on Saturday, and there are many questions afoot whether it be Blackbeard’s involvement or if we are going to continue to see Flint travel down the same dark road that he has been on as of late.

For the sake of this particular sneak peek, though, we’re focusing in specific on the Eleanor Guthrie character, who is going to be in the middle of what is a pretty tense negotiation with Woodes Rogers. There are of course questions of trust at the center of the clip, but as Eleanor puts it there really shouldn’t be that much of a reason to doubt her. Why? It all traces back to the notion that she and him have a common goal, and so long as their interests are aligned, it really does not matter so much how much they have in common. There will always be plenty of reasons for them to work together with an aligned philosophy.

As for whatever comes out of this, you’ll have to wait until the episode comes out to see. For now, though, it certainly feels clear that there is going to be quite a lot of important events taking place. We’ll be back to break it down so much more and then some once we make it to the end of the story. (Also, we’ll preview what is coming up next.)
