‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 11 video: The Reverse-Flash meets Barry (again)

There’s a heck of a lot to be excited about when it comes to Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Flash,” and much of it begins and ends with this simple fact: The return of Eobard Thawne a.k.a. the Revere-Flash to the scene! He’s dangerous, violent, vengeful, and also a little bit mysterious. He also follows his own timeline.

Part of what makes Eobard so interesting as a character is that he has so much information that Barry doesn’t, and he can often use this to his advantage. Take, for example, when he warns him in the sneak peek below about his death. Even though for Eobard this scene takes place before anything on the first season of the show, he still has an ax to grind with Barry. This further exemplifies the idea that these two characters have battled time and time again through history, and the great news for us about this is that it means this is far from the last time we’re going to see the Reverse-Flash on the show. Barry may be stronger than he was in season 1, but this is still an enormous threat.

On a different note, why does Mercury Labs constantly have to be in a state of peril? We’re not sure that we’d ever work there if we were a scientist in Central City, just based on the reputation and the carnage alone.
