We’ve got your first look now at Wednesday’s midseason premiere of “Criminal Minds” entitled “Entropy,” and this may be an episode we are more excited to see than most. Why is that? It’s all tied back to the fact that we are getting a guest-starring spot from none other than Aubrey Plaza!
In this episode, the “Parks and Recreation” alum is set to play a new date for Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) named Cat Adams who goes out with him to a restaurant … and this is where everything goes south. She seemingly starts to challenge him with a number of games that could mean the life or death of everyone within the establishment. This episode is fascinating to us because on “Parks and Rec,” Plaza’s April was a character who often joked about death, destruction, and other matters; however, she had a heart of gold underneath it all. We’re pretty sure based on this promo that Cat is heartless.
Could there be something more to this character than we are seeing here? Certainly so, but we don’t have too much to go on for now. We’re just happy that “Criminal Minds” at least gave us a promo that tees up something substantial that happens in an upcoming episode; more often than not, we’re not even lucky enough to get this from CBS. Usually they just tell us that some bad stuff is about to go down … which is pretty easy to assume, all things considered.
Hopefully, we’re going to have another preview for Wednesday’s episode soon, so that’s something to be on the lookout for.
