‘Chicago Fire’ season 4, episode 9 spoilers: Can Boden clear his name?

Boden -

The fourth season of “Chicago Fire” has not been kind to Boden so far, with the character’s arrest last week being at the top of the list of terrible things that have transpired for him. The good news is that we know he was the victim of a set-up here. Unfortunately, he has to find a way to prove that, protect the Firehouse, protect his family, and ultimately get his position back. This is not an easy process.

Speaking to TV Guide, Eamonn Walker made it clear that one of the biggest problems that awaits his character at the moment is simply figuring out where to start his investigation:

“Boden is seemingly being attacked, and trying to keep his house together … The stakes are very, very high. … For four years, we’ve been following this man. He and his lieutenants always have the answers, always light the way. And he really doesn’t know how to get through this. At the end of the day, on the other side of the blast out, after all of his brainstorming, he doesn’t have the answer.”

Hopefully, this will be a situation where we get some further information on the subject soon enough, and then we can start to move forward with him in good standing once more. Boden seems to be perpetually in a state of having one bad thing or another happening to him; if there is anyone who we’d say at this point really needs some sort of a win, it’s definitely this guy.
