‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 26: When will Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter, cast return?
For everyone wondering, tonight does mark the season 2 winter finale of “Girl Meets World.” This episode, entitled “Girl Meets the New Year,” could be a pretty enormous game-changer for the relationship between Riley and Lucas.
So when will the show return with new episodes? According to the Disney Channel, you can anticipate it being back one week after the new year on Friday, January 8 with an installment entitled “Girl Meets Stem.” We feel like the title is a reference for the STEM acronym, which stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The synopsis below gives you a little bit of a sense as to what is going to be coming up:
“Riley is upset when the boys at school won’t let her participate in a science experiment and attempts to become more involved.”
Will this episode end up telling you about the aftermath of “Girl Meets the New Year”? Don’t count on it, mostly thanks to the fact that this one filmed a little bit earlier in the year than some other recent episodes. Therefore, think of this as one of the standard “Girl Meets World” episodes where you have some humor, a message, and a story that probably will not matter several weeks down the road. While the wait is a long one, don’t worry: We certainly plan on delivering more news on the show every step of the way! Let’s just hope that at some point next year, we have an ending that proves to be rather satisfying.

I think Maya and Lucas should be together not just because Maya is broken and needs someone to be there for her but because if you really do look closely into the show you can just see the way Lucas stares at maya while when he looks at Riley there’s nothing really there that’s exiting………. Plus you can tell Lucas really cares for maya but is really just stuck between this conflict that he’s not sure how to solve.

I think it should be Lucas and Riley! Maya and Lucas sound better because Maya has had a rough life and you want someone to love her! But you have never seen Lucas get jealous over Maya but he gets jealous over Riley all the time! Plus they understand each other and Maya and Lucas don’t Really even talk about anything!?!?……. At least not anything of value!……… And on an unrelated note Farkle is awesome?

Who do you think should be together? It is obvious that both girls have feelings for Lucas but I’m not sure how Lucas feels or how is processing all of this as he seems to like both girls just in a different way.

I think that Lucas and Riley are better together. It’s obvious who Lucas really likes and it’s Riley. It’s obvious even in New Years as Lucas was jealous of how much Charlie knew about Riley. He cares for Maya but not as much as he cares for Riley. Go Rucas and Joshaya.
