‘Chicago Fire’ season 4: Jesse Spencer teases how Casey, Dawson deal with tragedy

Chicago Fire -Through the coming weeks on “Chicago Fire” season 4, you are going to see both Dawson and Casey do everything that they can to tackle what has to be one of the most difficult things anyone can go through: Losing their unborn child. The two of them are very good at having tunnel vision when it comes to making sure they get the job done, but the twist and the thing that you have to remember here is that more often than not when they do this, they are able to because they are focusing more on the problems of someone else. This is different, since it is a problem revolving around themselves that they are going to have to face and conquer in their own way.

Speaking to E! News on the subject of the couple’s future, series star Jesse Spencer does a good job of giving us hope that his character and Dawson are going to very much take their time to ensure that they are better before moving forward from this … even if they have some struggles along the way:

“These people experience trauma a lot in their day-to-day lives, and they generally tend to put it in a box and push it away … This one, they’ll also do that, but before they do that they’re going to make sure they’re healed, hopefully, as human beings.”
