‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Ralph’s training exercise

Monday night’s new episode of “Scorpion” is going to contain a story with its fair share of darker moments. With that, can you really be that surprised that CBS opted in the direction of lightness for their latest promo?

We say lightness with a little bit of an asterisk, given that there is a significant part of the promo below that revolves around Ralph getting nailed with a punching bag. He’s okay, though! This scene is geared around Ray training him in the latest attempt to help him fit in. When Paige arrives, she tries a different approach … and Walter questions what in the world the group was doing in the first place.

This story will be thrust into a much more serious direction not too long after that, as the team is forced to try to take on a complicated mission revolving around the United Nations, while at the same time Walter looks for more ways to help Megan in a dire time of need. We know that there are going to be some very powerful scenes in the next two episodes in particular when it comes to this character, so be on the lookout for those.

Also, be on the lookout for a wide array of different coverage when it comes to “Scorpion” as we move further into the week. That includes a preview of “Arrivals and Departures,” which has a title that makes us perhaps more concerned than we’ve been for any other story in a while on this show.
