‘Game of Thrones’ season 6: Even Sean Bean has an opinion on Jon Snow

Jon -Game of Thrones” fans are probably going to pass out over time after all of the speculation and questions that they’ve thrown around in regards to Jon Snow and his fate moving into season 6. Everyone has an opinion, and of course it has led to there being even more of a fury around the show’s set trying to see if there are any clues.

What we find particularly funny at this point is that even long-removed cast members are now weighing in what they think could have happened to the character. If there is someone who knows a thing or two about untimely death, though, it’s Sean Bean. The man behind Ned Stark, who died near the end of the first season, made it clear per the Express (while promoting his upcoming “Legends” season 2) that he would be that surprised at all if dead is dead for Kit Harington’s character:

“It kind of didn’t look like [Jon survived the stabbing], I have to admit, but who knows? Anything could happen. I guess that’s the big question.

“It used to be: Who’s Jon Snow’s dad? Now it’s: Is Jon Snow really dead? But I think he probably is. What do I know?”

Bean’s response is not really that different from that of the show’s producers, HBO, or anyone else who has been asked regarding his fate. The difference here is that this is coming courtesy of Ned and it is therefore slightly more awesome and/or credible. We don’t think anything that these people are saying negates a Harington return; Jon Snow can be dead, and it’s certainly possible that someone could revive him. What is dead may never die!

We’ll of course have more teasers (without giving anything away) on “Game of Thrones” prior to the show returning in the spring. Head over here to read all about them!
