Ratings: ‘NCIS,’ ‘The Flash,’ ‘Limitless’ rise as ‘Wicked City’ sinks further (for 11/3/2015)
Here’s something that we do not get a chance to write about too often: Significant movement in show ratings! Most of it is good news, and for the shows that experienced some bad news, it’s mostly the sort that you saw coming a while away.
Winners – Let’s start with “The Flash” (1.5 in the 18-49 demographic), which actually rose to a new season high with the excellent “The Darkness and the Light.” We actually don’t think that it is altogether crazy to think that the show could be at the same level as a declining “Supergirl” by the end of the season, despite it airing on The CW. People just so happen to love this show, and for great reason.
Without competition from baseball or any other newsworthy events, “NCIS” (2.3) and “NCIS: New Orleans” (1.9) also posted some significant improvements, with “Limitless” (1.5) ticking up slightly as well. Even “Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris” (1.3) improved slightly for its live finale. We feel like this show is better suited, if it comes back, for a summer run accompanying “America’s Got Talent” or a similar variety show to that.
Losers – “Wicked City” is not getting ratings that are wicked-in-a-good-way … not even close. With a 0.7, this show could be one that actually tests whether or not a network wants to “trim” the episode count (which has been a rather popular thing to do this season) or cancel it outright. Either way, this show is not lasting until spring. It stinks for the cast here, but that doesn’t make it any less true.
Also in this category, “Agents of SHIELD” (1.4) may have lost to “The Flash” depending on final numbers. Marvel vs. DC fans should have fun with this.

In Your Opinion? When it gets to season TWENTY, then it will be tied with a show called LAW & ORDER! Never heard of it? You must be very young or ignorant.

Ugh, it’s a discussion thread and I gave my opinion. I know about Law & Order but I don’t like that show. If that’s your #1 then fine, but being rude to me just because NCIS is the best show for me. Grow up.

I wasn’t being rude(but your response was). All you needed to do was write “In my Opinion.’ Is that so difficult? It’s like the people who write The Good Wife is the Best Show ever, but it gets demolished when new episodes go head to head with The Walking Dead. Therefore, it isn’t the best show ever, except in their opinion. NCIS is one of the top 3 shows in the World right now, and I have no problems with it. I just have problems with ignorance and stupidity. As long as Mark Harmon wants to keep NCIS going, there isn’t any reason to think that it couldn’t go 20 seasons.

Calling me ignorant because I didn’t write MY post the way you wanted it, is rude my dear. If I have to explain every single time I leave a comment that what I post is my opinion then nobody would ever comment on articles because it is clear everyone’s expressing their own opinion. Ugh

It’s not a matter of writing a post MY WAY. You made a BLANKET STATEMENT and I called you out on it. You said NCIS is THE BEST SHOW EVER, and you are WRONG! Is everyone just expressing their opinion? I don’t know. There are lots of people who think that their opinion is FACT without backing it up. How many politicians this year have stated things as FACT that weren’t true or turned out to be FALSE? Am I taking this all a little too seriously? Maybe. Believe it or not, there are lots of people who write on these boards who actually back up what they say with Facts. Scary.

I’m not a politician. I’m just a normal person who likes NCIS and I express my opinions. If you have a problem with that, then just ignore me. But calling me ignorant is rude because you don’t know me. And you judged one post that I did because again, I didn’t write it the way you would have prefered it. I’m done with this. Please, leave me alone.
