‘The Flash’ spoilers: See new look at Danielle Panabaker as Killer Frost

Flash -

Are we going to actually see Killer Frost on “The Flash” season 2? We know at the moment that there are few things more in-demand by the show’s fans than this, but the reality here is that it really doesn’t seem as though anyone is in a hurry to showcase this side of the Caitlin Snow character … and for many reasons. For one, there is the fact that Caitlin has yet to manifest any powers, and while we saw her in the Singularity with them, who knows if that was future Caitlin or one from another world? Also, the show seems to be doing the whole “person discovering powers” story with Cisco becoming Vibe.

Yet, there was some news on Friday thanks to Danielle Panabaker being on “The Talk,” where she showed off the image above of herself as the character. This was apparently taken when she dressed up for the season 1 finale, and she explained (per TVLine) that this is a process that they worked on for a while:

“I’m such a girl, and I loved getting dressed up in that look … We started working on the look a couple of months before we shot. Our first suit was a one-piece, kind of like Catwoman, but it didn’t feel quite right. So we changed it to be a top and these really cool leather pants. And the hair was awesome; it started as this short, little pixie wig, and we just kept adding more and more hair. It’s great, I’m really excited.”

Our current guess is that when Killer Frost is introduced it will probably be the Earth-2 version, if for no other reason than that it’d take a lot of work to turn the Caitlin in Central City evil, unless she is more of an antihero type who kills because she has to. Even still, we get the sense this Caitlin would rather die than cause others to lose their lives.
