‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 5 video: Stuart looks for help with the comic-book store

Big Bang Theory -Even though Stuart on “The Big Bang Theory” may have figured out a way to get a new comic-book store off the ground, there is clearly still a problem that he is running into: Trying to figure out a way to actually get customers inside. This has always been a struggle for Stuart and with him being so incredibly awkward and depressing to be around, we would think that the vibe inside of his shop could feel a little desperate.

Specifically, we’re talking about female customers. In the new sneak peek below, you can see Penny, Bernadette, and Amy all gather in Stuart’s store in order to figure out whether or not there is a way to bring in women into the shop. He tells them about some of what he is doing so far … and the facial expression from Penny in the video thumbnail below really explains it all. She’s not exactly that impressed by some of what he’s bringing to the table here.

Is there a way for Stuart to turn this shop around? Maybe this is a good season 10 story, but there is something fun that comes with having him be the perpetual loser on this show, devoid of love or any real success. Whenever one of the other characters starts to feel low, they can look towards him to feel a little bit better about themselves … it’s not that nice, but they seem to do it. There would still be something entertaining that comes out of Stuart suddenly finding success, and then having other characters develop a little bit of jealousy. It’d at least be different then what we’ve seen from him.

Be sure to stay tuned, as we’re going to have a full review of Monday’s episode coming up!
