‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3 spoilers: Monsters and more in ‘The Sisters Mills’

There is a common thread that we are starting to see in looking at early episode descriptions for “Sleepy Hollow” season 3, and it goes something like this: Pandora (pictured above)  unleashes some new threat on the New York town, and it is up to the heroes to figure out a way to stop it. We’re not going to push the accelerator here and confirm that she is the Big Bad yet for the whole season, but it’s starting to look that way.

What we bring to you now is the official synopsis from the fourth episode of season 3 entitled “The Sisters Mills” (airing October 22) which offers up at least on the surface a slightly different take on the classic formula. When you think of “Sleepy Hollow,” don’t you think primarily of the dashing adventures of Ichabod and Abbie? We do, and for some reason it seems like Tom Mison’s character may be indisposed for this episode. Maybe he got assigned jury duty or something. Before we get too far down that rabbit hole of playing detective for a MIA Crane who may not be actually MIA, let’s get to that synopsis. He’s just missing from it, and we find that curious:

“More powerful than ever, Pandora unleashes her most evil force yet. Meanwhile, Abbie and Jenny work together when the latest monster targets the children of Sleepy Hollow.”

Pretty self-explanatory, no? We do hope that Jenny finds herself a consistent role this season, and that the days of her either being A) institutionalized or B) off doing secret missions that she doesn’t want to talk too much about just yet are done. It doesn’t make sense for her to be away from the action and holding secrets, since these people all ultimately do need each other.
