‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Danny faces a possible serial killer

Blue Bloods season 6“Blue Bloods” season 6 certainly began in harrowing fashion on Friday night, and courtesy of an episode that was chaotic, violent, and stressful beyond all measure to the New York Police Department. The hardest thing about this job is that despite everything that Danny and Frank went through, they have to move forward to what lies beyond the horizon.

Unfortunately for Danny, this means having to take on an incredibly dangerous serial killer who could make matters difficult for him and his family. For those who were hoping to see more character development in the premiere, this episode next week may be your panacea. After all, you’ve got Erin thinking about making a big move for the sake of her future, and you are also going to get a chance to explore some major Eddie backstory courtesy of her father.

This episode is entitled “Absolute Power,” and the synopsis below (if you have not seen it to date) gives you some insight into what you can expect to see unfold:

“Danny and Baez investigate a possible serial killer who sends a chilling message to Danny, and Erin toys with the idea of applying for a judgeship. Also, Frank is in a bind when mayoral candidate Katherine Tucker (Mary Stuart Masterson) accuses him of secretly investigating her husband, and Eddie faces her estranged father when he winds up in the hospital.”

We will have some more news on this episode soon, but it sounds on the surface like the right mixture of politics and crime-solving, exactly what we like about this show.
