‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Echo Kellum, Jeri Ryan arrive in the candidate

Arrow -We know that there have been some people out there wondering whether or not Oliver Queen is going to run for Mayor on the upcoming fourth season of “Arrow,” and for the time being, we unfortunately cannot answer that. However, at the same time we can at least offer you up some further information in regards to one person who is seeking office: Jessica Danforth, a woman who Oliver and his sister Thea already know rather well thanks to her ties with Moira. We’re always glad to see a reference to her on the show at this point.

You are going to see this character, played by the great Jeri Ryan, on the upcoming October 14 episode entitled “The Candidate.” Not only that, but the synopsis below teases that you are going to get your first look at Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt, a man within Palmer Technologies who could prove to be a big help to her as she tries to handle all of the different responsibilities laid at her feet in the wake of Ray Palmer’s death:

“When an old family friend, Jessica Danforth (guest star Jeri Ryan), tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Thea (Willa Holland) that she is going to run for mayor, both Queens are concerned considering the last three mayors have been murdered. Despite their protests, Jessica makes her announcement so the Green Arrow and Speedy vow to protect her. Meanwhile, Thea begins to exhibit effects from the Lazarus Pit. In addition, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is faced with a tough business decision and looks to one of her employees, Curtis Holt (guest star Echo Kellum), for help.”

By the time we make it to the end of this episode, let’s just hope that some of these Lazarus Pit problems serve as a great introduction to what we know is coming with Sara Lance. Her resurrection will be taking place on the fifth episode of the season, and if you think that Thea’s problems are rough, wait until you see what it takes to bring her back to normal.
