‘Supergirl’ spoilers: First look at Iddo Goldberg as Red Tornado!

While we have heard plenty in regards to the “Supergirl” pilot (not to mention seen a variety of promos using the same footage time and time again), one thing that we have been eagerly awaiting here and there is some more information regarding some of the characters we’l be seeing beyond that episode. Sure, we have had a chance to read about various castings, but we haven’t had a chance to see many photos!

Luckily, that is changing now! The photo at the bottom of this article is your first look at Iddo Goldberg, who is going to be playing the part(s) of T.O. Morrow and then Red Tornado, the android that is created by the scientist. While there are some details that are relatively unclear in regards to the creation of the character on the show, it appears as though they are one in the same here. Red Tornado eventually becomes a major force to be reckoned with, and while the character could be either a hero or a villain depending on where you look in his lineage, he appears here to be a little bit more of a threat than anything else.

We do enjoy it very much that the show is bringing onto the small screen a variety of different characters who we haven’t seen too much of outside of the comics; at the end of the day, though, it comes down to presentation.

Sure, we know that this version of Red Tornado looks a little like Vision, but at the same time, we do appreciate that the show is doing something at least fairly faithful here.
