‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Things get tense with Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador

Vicki -If you were to say that this season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” feels like a broken record, it would be incredibly hard to argue that at the moment. This is turning out to be one of the more contentious seasons that we’ve had a chance to see in recent memory, but the interesting thing about it is that most of the drama is ultimately centered around just a small handful of people: Specifically, Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers. Sure, other people like Tamra Judge get involved courtesy of that big confrontation last week, but if you take out the common denominator, what happens then?

The synopsis below really picks up where things left off with Shannon Beador’s party, but eventually lead to many people wondering whether or not Brooks really has cancer. The promo below gives you a sense of that, and the synopsis below is a nice little add-on to that:

“Shannon’s Aries party continues with Vicki and Brooks making an early exit leaving the other ladies questioning Brooks’ behavior and Vicki’s involvement. Heather and Terry disagree over a design for the new house, while Tamra shows her son Ryan his new home in the OC. Meanwhile, Shannon begins to question her friendship with Vicki.”

We never want to root for a relationship to fail, but if it wasn’t working for Vicki and Brooks anymore, we’re glad that they did go their separate ways. Also, it may free her up to have a very different story if she returns to the show next season, and after years of Brooks drama, we’re all ready for that.
