‘America’s Got Talent’ finale results: Was Paul Zerdin, Drew Lynch, or Oz Pearlman season 10 winner?
There were definitely some surprises in store for us on the “America’s Got Talent” finale, and we’re not just talking about that hodgepodge magic performance or Jeff Ross turning up. To a certain extent, we were also surprised by some of the results.
We have to start here with our back-and-forth when it comes to the Professional Regurgitator. We thought going into the finale that he had little chance of winning, but then somehow he did manage to pull off one of the greatest performances in Tuesday’s episode. Here is what is probably the man’s fatal flaw: It is just far too heard to sell people on throwing up things across the board. It’s really hard to get people all over America voting for that. He already had a good career before this season, so he is going to be fine.
We were left with a final three of Paul Zerdin, Oz Pearlman, and Drew Lynch. We weren’t too stunned by this grouping other than Oz a little, just because he performed first and that typically means bad things. He did finish in third place, but that is nice way for him to close the door on his run. Not bad for a guy we didn’t think had much of a chance going into the finale.
Out of the final two, we really had no idea who would walk away with it. We did think that Paul was more consistent the past few weeks, but Drew performed last, and may have also had the inspirational story that America would want to get behind. Either way, Howard Stern’s last sure at least guaranteed one of the funniest winners we’ve ever seen. (Also, how great was Paul with Terry Fator? Match made in show heaven.)
After more filler content, it was revealed that Paul was the season 10 winner! While we weren’t on board at first (still don’t love the baby), you can not dispute the man’s talent and ability to find new, interesting ways to make you laugh. We’re glad that someone with his talent (which is often under-appreciated) now has a million bucks.

Small nitpick. He doesn’t have a million bucks. Winners get an annuity paid over 40 years, so he will have a million bucks in 2055. Winners can also accept the present cash value of such an annuity, which is…not a million bucks either.
