‘Bones’ season 11: See Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz in different form for new art

Bones -The eleventh season of “Bones” is getting set to premiere on Fox come Thursday, October 1, and we do have to say that it is relatively nice to see the show starting to come up with some more and more creative ways to market it. The latest example of that? The art below.

First posted by TVLine, this feels like something that you’d see almost in the late 1980’s or early 1990’s to promote the show. It’s fun, even though for some reason Fox still felt the need to throw a human skull in there as if it is almost impossible for the show to exist without one of them being thrown into a piece of artwork somewhere.

We do like the fact that we get an animated look here at Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz), if for no other reason than it piques are curiosity to see if the show would ever consider going all-out for some sort of animated episode. It would at least be somewhat of a different look than we’ve seen them pull off before, and hey, they’re already showing a knack for quirky ideas by doing a “Sleepy Hollow” crossover. Maybe we’re thinking a tad too postmodern here, but if we are we’re going to say that it is a direct result of being big fans of “Community” for so many years.

We’ll have some more “Bones” story scoop, and hopefully more art analysis, as we get a little bit closer to the show coming on the air.
