‘Supernatural’ season 11 trailer: God, the Darkness, and blood
Did someone set out to make the latest “Supernatural” trailer into some sort of “Grindhouse” tribute? After watching the video below, there is a part of us seriously wondering if that is the case. It’s one of the crazier trailers that the show has put out there just in terms of content, and it’s got a nice little button of humor at the very end with the “Ghostbusters” reference.
We start things off here with the whole prayer to God, which of course does nothing other than make us want to get Chuck back on the show at some point this season. The show could certainly use him, or at least someone to try to further explain what is really going on here. The Darkness is perceived to be something that has been around even since before the Bible, and how it chooses to manifest itself is in some ways still a mystery.
From this point, things just get really weird and trippy as we get further proof that Crowley is still around, that Castiel is in bad shape, and that the brothers are going to need a lot of help to figure out what they are going to do next. This mission will at least unite them, and there is going to be a different sort of fun that comes from getting to watch the two actually take on some of the evil together, as to having to face things individually as them have the past couple of years.
“Supernatural” season 11 premieres on Wednesday, October 7, and we are of course going to have more news very soon!
