‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5: Latest poster (once again) all about the Dark Swan

The marketing push for “Once Upon a Time” season 5 continues, and it just so turns out today that it really doesn’t matter too much whether or not it is Labor Day Weekend.

The focus of the new poster via ABC is a well that they have dipped into a few times already, and it is what will be almost without argument the main focus of the season: The Dark Swan story. Emma’s transformation was key to the finale, and it will be hugely important to the start of season 5 as she tries to figure out whether or not she can resist the evil forces that are swirling around within her. She’s going to want to, but that doesn’t mean that she is going to be able to actually do it.

The question that we do wonder to ourselves right now is whether or not the storyline with this character is going to last longer than just a few short weeks. We feel like younger viewers will be slightly disturbed if she turns evil, but at the same time you’ve spent so much time building this story up at the moment that you have to find a way to make it pay off in one way or another. We feel like it’s best for it to last somewhere close to the first half of season 5.
