‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: Is Parker turning up again?

While we’ve spent a ton of time as of late discussing the disappearance of Booth in the “Bones” season 11 premiere airing October 1, let’s change things up today by talking about something a little bit different now: Someone who will be turning up! We’re specifically talking here about Parker, Booth’s son who we actually have not seen on the show in over a year.

Will that be changing soon? It certainly seems like it, based on what executive producer Michael Peterson had to say on the subject to TVLine:

“We definitely will be seeing him … We’re working on a storyline right now that will have him return.”

We would like to actually see the kid around for a little bit longer than just an episode or two, just to see how he fits in more to Booth and Brennan’s life now that these two have two children at the start of season 11. Kids are still never really going to be a focus of the show; while it will be a nice compliment to everything going on with the characters, the real focus here is ultimately going to remain on what is happening with Booth and Brennan in terms of their cases. This is a mystery show first and foremost, and that’s not going to change anytime soon.

Now, let’s just hope that at some point we’re also going to get a chance to see some other characters on the show who have not been around in some time.
