‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: First look at ’24’ alum Kim Raver

At the moment the 11th season of “Bones” is set to premiere on Thursday, October 1, and when it does, you better prepare for at least one notable guest star to populate this world. We’re talking about Kim Raver, an accomplished actor who you probably know from a variety of different things, whether it be “24,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” or “Revolution”.

Within this show, you are going to know her as Grace Miller, an FBI Special Agent who is being brought into the series with one very specific purpose in mind: Doing anything and everything that she can in order to ensure that Seeley Booth is tracked down. (You can see a first-look photo of her below, courtesy of TVLine.) He will go missing at some point in the premiere, and she and Agent Aubrey are going to be responsible, more than likely with the help of Brennan, for tracking him down and making sure that he is safe.

What is the reason surrounding Booth’s disappearance? It’s safe to assume that either we are dealing with a guy here who is in some sort of serious danger (i.e. taken against his will), or is off on a mission trying to help someone else in serious danger. There are some ghosts from his past that could be unearthed, and this would be a fun process to behold.

For those who missed it, there was also a practical purpose for this storyline, as well: Series star David Boreanaz was sidelined temporarily after having an adverse reaction to an antibiotic, and this story helped to give him time to recover so that he could get ready for work without a problem.
