‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Nominations and (plenty of) tears
There were no surprises at the “Big Brother 17” Nomination Ceremony on Friday night. Everyone knew what was going to happen, and yet nobody was really that prepared for the emotional consequences.
Steve nominated both Liz and Austin, making one of the biggest moves that he’s made at any point in the game. Liz is bawling as a result, feeling like she’s gone from being in power to nothing in just a day. She also feels hurt by some reason that Steve did this to her, mostly because he previously had made deals with them and so on. Typical sort of stuff you’re upset about after being nominated.
Austin probably has the best philosophy on this at the moment: The guy went almost the entire game without being nominated, and it was bound to happen eventually. It’s not a great feeling, but nothing is set in stone just yet. The Veto is tomorrow, and Steve’s philosophy is “anything but Julia.” If she wins the Veto everyone is screwed other than Austin and the Twins.
So now, we transition into preparing for that, but our favorite moment of the feeds post-nomination ceremony was seeing Steve act all sad and guilt-ridden in one room, and then going in the other room and giving himself huge props for making the move. Clearly, the guy does know what he’s doing a little more than he’s let on, and we wish we had more confessionals over the course of the season to see some of that.
