‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: James and Vanessa talk things out

There are really so many reasons to love this season of “Big Brother,” and whether you love Vanessa or hate her as a player, she has brought so much to the table in terms of entertainment. She is dramatic, strategic, and she really pushes hard to do just about anything that she can in order to get her way and influence her point of view.

Take, for example, when James approached her last night in the Head of Household room and accused her more or less of making a big deal out of nothing in terms of past comments and of “playing too hard,” which in turn caused her to tell him that this made her want to send Meg home even more. Of course, this is a similar tactic to what she used on Steve last week, and it is a total intimidation tactic. People are afraid of her going off, which is why she is still there. Nobody wants to deal with the after-effects of that. There is a little bit of All-Stars Mike Boogie in Vanessa’s game, with the difference being that Boogie never resorted to tears to get his way and was much more transparent in the Diary Room.

Eventually James and Vanessa did end the conversation with more pleasantries, but Vanessa took James’ stance (and the fact that he was wearing sunglasses) as a means to fabricate some stuff later about he came in all “cocky” in another one of her emotional spiels. James is still treating her as primary enemy #1.

Also, Julia is aware of the plan to put her up as a pawn, and while she does not love it, she seems willing to go through with it. Can you imagine the hilarity if she actually goes home?
