‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 11 spoilers: Expect a different sort of horror
One of the goals with any show is that you never really want to do the same thing twice, and when you have a show like “Teen Wolf,” this may be important more than ever. After all, you need different story dynamics when you have a group of high-school students involved, and a certain part of their life will remain unchanging. You have to rely on the horror in order to shake things up a little bit.
So what sort of terror can you expect to see when season 5 returns in January? In between what happened with Parrish the hellhound and Theo leading a new back, there are some interesting new dynamics brought to the table. These are things that creator Jeff Davis emphasizes in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter:
“We wanted 5A to be a body-horror season. We’re going to change that a little bit for 5B because the Doctors have essentially succeeded, but we’re still going to be scary. We’re treating season 5B like a big monster movie. We’ve got some more surprises in store for our creatures next season, and now that Theo has his dark chimera pack, he’s going to be causing a lot of trouble for Scott as well.”
While the Dread Doctors are still around, we imagine for the time being that Theo and his group may be the more immediate threat, given his feelings about Scott and the emotional torment that may come courtesy of having someone like Hayden as a part of his pack. This is not something that Liam is going to respond well to, and it is worth watching out for.
