‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: More chaos before Veto Ceremony

VanessaWe really did not anticipate writing another “Big Brother 17” article before the Veto Ceremony, but some of the insanity this morning has made it necessary … beginning with the latest antics led by Vanessa.

We ultimately think that this week is a tipping point for her game, where she is either going to get herself in a position to get closer to the end, or settle more for finishing for at best third or fourth place. The problem here is that while she’s much more likely to go far with Austin and the Twins, her odds of making it to the final two are much lower. None of those three will take her to the end if they have a choice. Austin would take either Liz or Julia, Liz would take either Austin or Julia, and while Julia would probably likely pick Vanessa over Austin, that’s not a good place to be in. With Johnny Mac and Steve, she has one person in Steve who would probably take her as his #1, feeling like he could beat her. He’s at least said this in the past.

Vanessa at this point, though, seems convinced that she is not using the Veto, and will get rid of either Johnny Mac or Steve. This comes courtesy of a lie planted where it was made to appear that Steve started a five person alliance with John and Austwins to take her out. Sure, it was discussed, but he wasn’t the one responsible for it! He’s just a fall guy, and Vanessa is believing what the Austwins are saying for some reason, even though Austin has lied to her before.

Who knows? Maybe Vanessa feels like other people will win Head of Household, take down Austin and the twins, and she’ll be the best option left for the remaining members to align with. This could happen. We just don’t think being the fourth in a four-person alliance is her right path to the end and her other options are starting to dwindle.

We’ll bring you more from the house a little later, so stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled to this link! Also, you can sign up here to get some further TV scoop on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: CBS.)
