‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Have Meg, James, Jackie changed the target?

There’s almost a way out from any bad situation on “Big Brother 17,” and the irony for Vanessa right now is that she may have found a way out without not doing really anything to merit it in the present.

Last night, Meg, James, and Jackie had a conversation that was pretty brilliant, mostly in that the three realized that if they keep Vanessa around, who is she going to be supportive of? The answer is them. She’ll want to get Becky out of the game, whereas if Shelli stays, she will specifically target James. Keeping Vanessa therefore makes more sense than keeping Shelli, who they feel much more threatened by. James isn’t too worried specifically about going against Becky’s wishes, mostly because almost nobody did what he wanted them to do last week as Head of Household in evicting Shelli.

Ultimately, there are still issues with this plan, namely that they will need two more votes. We feel like it won’t be too hard to get Austin and the Twins on board here, given the fact that they have been close to Vanessa for most of the game. Specifically, Austin has been much closer to Vanessa than Shelli, and since Shelli has better social relationships with Becky and Johnny Mac than Vanessa, keeping Vanessa around therefore forces her to work more with them.

While there is no confirmation that they are going to act on this plan yet, we’ll see how things go come later today or Wednesday. It seems like they are going to let Vanessa campaign a little bit first to see what happens.
