‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The Veto Ceremony (and aftermath) you’ve been waiting for

You knew that things would be crazy after the Veto Ceremony today on “Big Brother 17.” What was not as clear (at least before now) is just how crazy we were really talking about!

As expected, Steve took himself off of the block with the Power of Veto, and as a result Becky decided to nominate Vanessa. This was her plan from the start of the week to get her out, and while she wasn’t perfect every step of the way, she did make the move that was probably best for her (and many others) in the end. Vanessa is someone who could legitimately win this game, and you have to get her out while you still can.

Now comes all of the attempts to lie about it! Shelli is doing her part to act like she didn’t know Vanessa would be going up, and before the Veto Ceremony Austin and the twins were informed of the plan, but told to act surprised about it. Vanessa is of course upset, but she seems to actually be holding it together pretty well, given what we’ve seen from her until now. She seems to be more upset with Shelli than anything, since she feels like Shelli did know at least something that she could have warned her about in advance. Thanks to that, she didn’t get a chance to fight to make a move on her own.

Let’s be real here: Shelli did the right thing cutting bait and not helping Vanessa going into this. Had she looked like she was going against the house, she’d be the next target almost right away. Vanessa may still have a chance to re-enter the game, and thanks to that people are going to be walking on eggshells this week.
