‘Poldark’ episode 6 preview (PBS): Struggles ahead for Aidan Turner, cast?

Tonight, “Poldark” aired an episode that featured everything from Ross and Demelza’s child to our intrepid hero doing his part to unite the miners. So where is the story going to be going moving into the next new installment? (Spoilers ahead!)

There were some happy moments that took place over the course of tonight’s new episode, but we have to warn you now that there are some very hard times still to come for Aidan Turner’s character and the rest of the cast. for one, Francis’ loss tonight in gambling is going to have some legs, and there are some issues that really do go along with that. In general, Ross will be facing many more struggles at the mines than he has dealt with to date. Let this be a sign that just because things are getting better with Demelza, that does not mean as a whole that his life is perfect.

Meanwhile, be prepared for some more trouble for Francis over what is going on with Blamey and Verity. Tonight, Demelza tried to work to get the two talking, but Francis may not be in a position to really want to hear about this. Remember how he was stripped away of his business tonight? That is something we’re going to be taking a much closer look at in seven days’ time.
