‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Vanessa’s moves, shush-gate, and Veto Ceremony preparation

Vanessa -Even though “Big Brother 17” has only really been taking place for these houseguests for the past week and a half, it actually feels almost like it has been going on for a solid month at this point. This is a very strategy-based, intense season so far on the live feeds, and this could set the stage for an insane Veto Ceremony either later today or tomorrow … but hopefully today.

The one constant through everything has been James, who has not wavered in his desire to get Jace out. He’s really done a good job this week at being somewhat stable, and also doing nothing that will make him into a target at some point down the road. He’s like a less insane Beast Mode Cowboy in that regard. You’re going to know the majority of the time where his head is at.

So with this in mind, many of the moves are planning for the future. It’s fascinating just how strategic some of the women are this year; really, we’d wager now that Audrey, Da’Vonne, and now even Vanessa are playing harder than any of the guys. The first two have almost been in a cold war the past couple of days, and now Vanessa is starting to rally some numbers. She seems to have mostly figured out what Audrey’s game is, and wants to ensure that she has many people on her side.

Through her, we’ve seen her discuss potentially working with Clay, Austin, Johnny Mac, and Becky, and she is good at dishing out some but all information. For example, she told Austin that has done professional gambling in her life, and also told him some of what Jace’s fate is going to be. Austin’s a much better player away from Jace.

Speaking of Jace, one of the major highlights from last night was him completely losing his mind after Becky shushed him. Yes, this did bring to mind the story about the “shusher” on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” which Dennis and Charlie out for vengeance. We’re going to miss Jace if he leaves; he’s a horrendous player, but solid entertainment.
