‘Big Brother 17’ spoilers: Who could the two remaining players be?

Today was a great day for many “Big Brother” fans, mostly because of the sole fact that CBS officially announced the first 14 houseguests who are going to be taking part in the upcoming season of the show.

Of course, herein does lie the problem: They only announced the first 14! There are still some other mystery houseguests out there, and we may be waiting for a little while to figure who they are. Rumors are already running amok, and the one thing that we will say is that they don’t necessarily have to be returning players.

If they were, we feel like at the top of the list would be potentially people like Donny Thompson, Nicole Franzel, or Zach Rance from last season, where we could see two of them return in a situation like “Survivor: Guatemala.” Still, it feels like somewhat of a waste to randomly put two returning players on here when there is probably an All-Stars coming up at some point over the next few years. Why not save the good people?

Our feeling is that it’s certainly possible we could see a twist where the other two people have some sort of preexisting or secret relationship, are D-list celebrities, or are being set up to have a super-secret role in the game. There’s a reason that we haven’t seen them yet, and we feel like it is probably tied to some sort of major twist. Them being returning players feels a little too easy … at least to us.
