‘Major Crimes’ season 4 spoilers: What is the total episode count?

Major Crimes -Major Crimes” is one of the most-success shows on TNT, so of course the network would want to keep it around as much as possible on the air. Does this mean that it will ever get the 22-24 episode seasons that some network crime shows get? It’s unlikely, but we do at least have some more confirmation that you will be seeing a very solid 18 episodes this season.

This news was confirmed by none other than executive producer James Duff himself in a recent AMA on Reddit, one where he answered a variety of different questions, including one about whether or not he wants to see more of Mark Pellegrino on the series as Gavin in the near future. You can probably predict his answer already, since Mark is the sort of actor who you really want around for almost everything, if it is at all possible:

“I love Gavin. And I would love to work with him again. Mark Pellegrino is one of the finest actors working in America. And if we could ever find a time when he was available, and we had an opportunity, nothing would please me more. I wish I was working with him on a weekly basis – he’s so stunningly good an actor!”

For the record, though, there are of course many more actors who we’d love to see back on the show … and some of them, including Billy Burke, seem almost inevitable given their magnitude to the long-term story. Maybe you don’t see Stroh anytime soon, but how long can you keep a guy like that away?
