‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: Juelia Kinney of Chris Soules’ season signs on

“Bachelor in Paradise” executive Mike Fleiss made it clear recently that he would be unveiling certain members of the cast over time … and he is very much doing so at his own pace.

In a new post on Twitter (see below), it was made clear that Juelia Kinney of Chris Soules’ season is the latest person heading down to Paradise in attempt to find love (or at least get screen time) with a variety of other alumni from past seasons. Juelia was not the most memorable person from last season of “The Bachelor,” but she did have a few important scenes with Chris talking about a difficult past, which included losing her husband and being a single mother. She came under fire by some over sharing that story at a pool party, but we imagine that she did this more at this time because she really did not have many other opportunities over the course of the season.

Ultimately, Juelia’s casting feels like producers feel there is something more with her that has not been explored just yet, and this could be something fun to explore over time. Also, maybe they feel like they can really help her find someone through this experience.

While it may be easy to be cynical at the moment about this and every other version of the franchise, the fact that Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul came out of this a couple is proof that it can work. They’ve been together long enough so that it at least validates the premise to a certain extent.
