‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: Will comedian Drew Lynch draw some laughs?

America's Got Talent -We all know that “America’s Got Talent” loves to have contestants with a story. However, for some reason we always tend to find ourselves the most drawn to some of the contestants who are able to almost make fun of it in a way. Jack Carroll on the British version of the show is a great example of that, and Drew Lynch, who will appear on the upcoming season of the U.S. series premiering Tuesday, is another. He has a pretty severe stutter, but he finds a way to use that for some great material.

The preview video below does not give away much when it comes to Lynch’s set, but he does tell what we personally find to be a particularly funny joke about his voice being the one that companies should use for a GPS. He impresses the judges right away, and to us he feels like a safe bet to make it through to the live shows.

One other thing you should know right now is simply that the man’s stutter is legit. We wish that we didn’t live in an era where we have to even post that, but we did have to sit through a guy a couple of seasons back who pretended to have a stutter as a way to get sympathy on the show.

Oh, and another thing is that if Drew or any other contestant gets a golden buzzer this season, they are transferred forward all the way to the live shows! This is one change that this series is making that we definitely sign off on that is popular on the British version.
