‘Ink Master’ season 6: Masters vs Apprentices spotlight: St. Marq vs Ryan Hadley

Ink MasterWe feel that St. Marq and Ryan Hadley are the guys to watch on this season of “Ink Master” season 6, because if their past work says anything, it says that they are already masters in their craft. While there have been quite a few Masters and Apprentices that are coming on this show with a fairly good relationships, it seems that these two butt heads quite often and it might keep their heads out of the competition.

St. Marq and Ryan both have a lot to bring to the table this season and we are finding that their portfolios are really going to be hard to beat, but as we’ve seen many times over, the stress of the competition can really be someone’s undoing. Let’s see how these two stack up against each other.

The Master: St. Marq

Tattooing: He has been in the industry for 25 years and is an owner and artist at New Breed in West Lafayette, IN and he’s known for doing multi-surface tattoos that need more then one body and some of the stuff he’s done has blown our minds. He is going to be hard to beat.

The Apprentice: Ryan Hadley

Tattooing: He has been tattooing for 15 years and is the owner and an artist at Ryan Hadley Studio in Fort Wayne, IN. He is known for his color, portrait realism and if you haven’t had a chance to check out his work you really should. It’s incredible.

St. Marq vs Ryan: After seeing some of the multi-surface tattoos that St. Marq has done we are honestly blown away and think he has a great shot at winning this whole thing if he can keep a cool head in the game. That being said we could easily see Ryan in the finale as well with some of the color portrait realism tattoos we saw in the preview video below. The only thing that we worry about with these two is that they both know how incredibly talented they are and with big portfolios can come big attitudes, which don’t always result in big wins. We’ve seen many artists get tripped up in the head games on this show and we hope that doesn’t happen to either of these artists, because we could see both of them coasting through this competition right to the winner’s circle. We are excited to watch these two!
