‘Daredevil’ season 2 spoilers: Rosario Dawson poised to return

Sure, you may be waiting for a long time still to see “Daredevil” season 2 arrive on Netflix, but isn’t it still nice to get some confirmation on who is returning? We like to think so.

Marvel confirmed on Friday that Rosario Dawson is set to appear on the upcoming second season of the drama, and to go along with that, her deal includes some flexibility so that Claire Temple can appear on some other editions of Netflix’s Marvel canon. Remember here that they also have “AKA Jessica Jones” launching at some point in the future, and then a little ways down the road, they will also be launching a Luke Cage series.

“Daredevil” for the most part has been well-received; if nothing else, it is definitely a million times more popular a the moment than the Ben Affleck movie was. Charlie Cox has proven to be a capable lead, and as a whole there is a pretty strong cast surrounding him.

Moving forward, one of the show’s challenges is going to be continuing to allow it exist somewhat within its own bubble, while at the same time allowing it to also exist beyond that in the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is starting to get to the point now where there are so many tentacles out there of this universe that it is hard to keep track of everything, but if you slip up even once when it comes to continuity, there will be folks out there who manage to call you out on it.

For now, though, Hell’s Kitchen seems to be mainly Daredevil’s (and Gordon Ramsay’s) jurisdiction.
