‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 22 preview: Boss on ‘This is Your Sword,’ Oliver’s ‘wedding’
What’s not to love about Wednesday night’s new episode of “Arrow“? On the surface, there is clearly quite a few things that you can be more than happy about. For example, you have an opportunity in here to see such things as Oliver Queen / Al Sah-Him’s wedding to Nyssa al Ghul, and an epic battle outside of Nanda Parbat as Team Arrow does everything in their power to ensure that the latest plan is foiled.
Also, this episode is going to feature, per executive producer Marc Guggenheim in the video below, some of the most epic scenes that we’ve seen in a finale so far. There is so much more at stake at this point than just Oliver in the League, and we’re not sure that they are even that aware of all of it.
Also, there is one other question that you have to wonder at the moment: Is there any way to make Oliver remember that he actually is Oliver? Hopefully, we figure that out sooner rather than later.
We do feel like there is one other thing that is probably being a little too heavily scrutinized on the show these days, and that is how seriously we are meant to take a show whose main villain has dipped himself into a magical put for 100 years. Yes, the idea of Laurel Lance being able to take on several assassins after a relatively short amount of time in training is far-fetched, but sooner or later you just have to buy into the concept. It’s a comic-book show, and they are not going to have full seasons of people like the Black Canary and the Atom being terrible at what they do.
What do you want to see on this episode, and do you imagine that Oliver’s wedding ceremony will actually stick? It will be an interesting episode:
Im having issues with the fighting skills of certain characters.
Tatsu: Im okay with her level of training. We really know very little about her
Thea: She only spent 3-4 months with Malcolm. Again, Im not sure how powerful a warrior she is but it seems to fluctuate based on what the episode requires
Laurel: Same as with Thea except she again hasnt had a great deal of training either but appears to be engaging 3 league members.

Nyssa has been training Laurel for awhile now. They just have not shown it on screen. She probably has had as much as Thea or more. She also had training from Wildcat.
Thea was already good with a bow. She had archery trophies in her room in season 1. Both her and Laurel were trained by top LoA members. I’m sure their training was excelled some. At some point though, you have to suspend belief. The show would get boring fast, if they didn’t know how to fight for 2 seasons or so.
