‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: One of the most awkward weddings ever?

We have definitely seen a ton of pretty terrible weddings on TV over the past several years … with the majority of the absolute worst ones of course coming from “Game of Thrones.” If the upcoming “Arrow” wedding has anything it can hope for, it is that it turns out somewhat better than Robb Stark’s. Granted, we get a feeling that Nyssa al Ghul would prefer to be killed compared to actually having to marry Oliver Queen a.k.a. Al Sah-Him, which is the punishment that has been bestowed upon her by her father Ra’s. Clearly, this is a guy who knows very well how to push buttons!

The fact that it is specifically Katrina Law and Stephen Amell’s characters here is almost a million times worse for a variety of reasons, starting with this: These two were just trying to kill each other! Also, there is the whole thing in which Nyssa and Sara were romantically involved, while Sara was romantically involved with Oliver before before and after being a major part in the League of Assassins.

While this uncomfortable photo above does show the two walking down the aisle, it does not necessarily mean that they will ultimately be married! There is still a whole lot of time for there to be some chaos, and for Felicity to come in screaming “I object!” in a way that we should. Yes, we realize that we are probably projecting our own desires for these two characters onto the actual show itself.

At least by the end of this episode, we should have a better idea as to whether or not Oliver will unleash the Alpha and Omega on Starling City, which in turn puts us in another position where the entire city is at risk.
