‘The Flash’ finale spoilers: Robbie Amell, Victor Garber return to close off story

Next week, “The Flash” is unleashing a force to be reckoned with in Gorilla Grodd upon our heroes. Of course, that is only the beginning of the struggle that awaits them in the final few episodes! We know that Harrison Wells / Eobard Thawne is surviving until we at least get to the season finale “Fast Enough.” Not only that, but it is possible that there could be an intellectual battle between Wells and Barry Allen to go along with the physical one. He has an offer for him … but it may be the Godfather-esque “offer you can’t refuse.”

Today, The CW let loose the first synopsis for the May 19 installment, which you can see below courtesy of FlashTVNews. The return of two guest stars should bring a smile to your face:

“Wells (Tom Cavanagh) presents Barry (Grant Gustin) with a life-changing choice. Dr. Martin Stein (guest star Victor Garber) and Ronnie Raymond (guest star Robbie Amell) return to help the S.T.A.R. Labs team with this final fight.”

Here are a couple of other things to expect from this hour:

1. We’ve heard that there will be at least some tease on a future Killer Frost story before we get to the end of this season, and this may ultimately be an opportunity for the show to give us just that.

2. Could we finally get an explanation in here about Robbie Amell’s involvement in the spin-off show? Garber has been confirmed for it, but without Ronnie Raymond, is there really a Firestorm? It doesn’t feel like it.
