As you can see in the video below, the host did get a chance to speak with someone claiming to be the character, though of course it was none other than Kristen Wiig in a dress and in the famous wig. (Yes, the Wiig in a wig jokes are so obvious here.) This is part of a recurring bit that the two former “Saturday Night Live” cast members do on the show. Fallon announces that a famous person (or in this case, a famous character) is appearing on the show, and then she comes out dressed as them, pretending to have all of these stories and information. In reality, she knows nothing, and really just seems to make it all up. We wonder how much of this sketch is improv, or if her delivery on scripted lines is really this fantastic.
If you have not seen some of the past incarnations of this over the years, go take a look at Wiig being Michael Jordan and Harry Styles. These are equally hilarious. While we know that these bits are coming now, they somehow do not feel any less hilarious when they actually come on the air.
“Game of Thrones” is currently still in its fifth season, which airs Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern on HBO. Who knows? Maybe Wiig can help the Khaleesi figure out more how to handle the crisis in Meereen?
