‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 spoilers: What lies behind big Patrick Dempsey episode

The future -At the moment, almost everything with “Grey’s Anatomy” is revolving around Thursday night’s new episode “How to Save a Life,” and understandably so. This is the key installment of the show that is all about Derek, and the rumor mill is already turning at rapid pace when it comes to whether or not it will be the last time that we see Patrick Dempsey on the air. Personally, we don’t think that the story is over for him yet, but this will be an important episode regardless.

So what lies after this episode? For the time being, ABC is keeping things very hush-hush on the final three episodes of the season. They haven’t released an  official synopses yet through the network press site, and to date, most of the information we have comes through episode titles. Note that we don’t have the title for the finale yet, but we can at least tell you the two title that succeed what we see Thursday.

11×22, “She’s Leaving Home” – This is not an easy title to analyze, since our first thought when reading this is someone finally finishing school and beginning the next phase of their lives. There aren’t many characters in that position on the show. A better analogy here could be someone really going out on their own to try a new phase of their lives. We’re hoping that this person is not Meredith…

11×23, “Time Stops” – Yep, we’re more worried about this hour than “She’s Leaving Home.” That’s the sort of title you give an episode where something pretty bad happens. There are few times in your life when you have a feeling like the one described here; sometimes, it is an extremely happy moment like a proposal. Other times, it is something extremely tragic and with “Grey’s Anatomy” we usually expect tragic over happy.
