Is ‘The Flash’ episode 18 new tonight? New ‘All-Star Team-Up’ trailer

Let’s go ahead and get the bad news out of the way when it comes to this new episode of “The Flash“: There is no new installment airing on The CW tonight. This is the last hiatus of the season, since from this point on, we’re going to get new installments every week the rest of the way.

If nothing else, at least the network has been fairly liberal when it comes to releasing new sneak peeks from “All-Star Team-Up,” the new episode that airs a week from tonight. The latest example of that is the lengthy trailer below, which gives you a sense of most of the story other than the arrival of Brie Larvin a.k.a. the Bug-Eyed Bandit. Sorry, Emily Kinney fans. The focus here is mostly on seeing what Barry Allen does with the information he has seemingly figured out about Harrison Wells being the Reverse Flash. He has to exercise caution in sharing what he knows, because he does not want to reveal the truth about it in a way that could expose what he knows.

One way or another, though, it seems like Dr. Wells / Eobard Thawne is going to catch on to the fact that Barry is getting more and more aware of his plans. This could lead to a confrontation … with the emphasis on “could.” The trailer could be somewhat misleading.

If nothing else, we know that this should be a fun, fast-paced episode that features plenty of surprises, plus appearances from Emily Bett Rickards and Brandon Routh.
