‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16 spoilers: First script tease for ‘Parole Violations’

Law & Order: SVU logoAfter several weeks off of the air, “Law & Order: SVU” is going to return with a new episode airing on Wednesday night. We know that there have been some assorted teases here and there about “Parole Violations” already, but the script tease below gives you an even greater sense of what is coming up to the case at hand.

This script below was first shared by executive producer Warren Leight on Twitter, and it reminds us primarily of the main story for the upcoming hour: A parolee accuses his officer of raping in, and the question that rises from this is how this situation could have logistically come about. This is what Benson and Amaro are trying to investigate.

In the end, the questions for the two characters go beyond just what a woman could have done to rape a man in this situation; instead, much of it comes down to trusting someone who has a history of illegal activity, and may have some motivation for spreading falsehoods. What complicates matters further is that this same man has connections to Carisi, who we are going to learn more about throughout this episode in terms of his family.

Given that you have waited such a long time to see this episode, we’ve also seen another tease from the official account of the writers room. This gives you another introduction to Carisi’s world, but a rather uncomfortable one, to say the least.
